Helper Robots
& Cool Tricks

Think of Claude Code like a smart buddy who lives in your computer and can build things, fix things, and look stuff up for you. Here are a few easy ways to use its helper robots (called "agents") and its other neat tricks. No big words — promise.

Part 1 // Helper Robots (Agents)
🤖

Send One Helper

An agent is a little helper you send off to do one job. You keep talking to Claude while the helper works in the back — like sending your friend to go find a book while you keep reading.

Try saying
“Send a helper to look through all my app files and find where my phone number shows up.”
👥

Send a Whole Team

You can send lots of helpers at the same time. It’s like having 5 friends clean 5 rooms at once instead of one person cleaning all day. Big jobs get done way faster.

Try saying
“Use a team of agents to check my whole app for bugs at the same time.”

The Finder Helper

One special helper is really good at finding things. If you don’t know where something lives in your files, the Finder digs through everything and brings back just the answer.

Try saying
“Find every place my app says the word ‘Wing’ so we can fix it.”
🗺️

The Planner Helper

Before building something big, you can ask for a plan first. A helper writes out the steps, you read them, and you say “yes, go!” That way nothing surprises you.

Try saying
“Make me a plan first before you change anything. Let me see it.”
Part 2 // Other Cool Tricks

Magic Words (Slash Commands)

Type a slash “/” and a word to use a special tool. They’re like cheat-code buttons. For example, one checks your work for mistakes before you save.

Try typing
/code-review  — it checks your project for problems
🧠

It Remembers You

Claude keeps a little notebook (memory). Tell it something once — like how you like things — and it remembers next time. You don’t have to repeat yourself.

Try saying
“Remember that I like things explained simple, and keep my app notes saved.”
🔌

It Reaches Other Apps

Claude can plug into your other stuff — your email, your website, even your home network — and do things there for you. (That’s how it read your Amazon email and fixed your website.)

Try saying
“Check my email and tell me if the recruiter wrote back.”

It Works in the Background

Some chores take a while. Claude can do them in the back and tap you on the shoulder when it’s done — so you don’t have to sit and wait.

Try saying
“Build this in the background and let me know when it’s ready.”
📸

It Can See Pictures

Show Claude a photo or screenshot and it can read it. That’s how it looked at your phone pictures and figured out what was wrong on your screen.

Try saying
“Here’s a screenshot — what is this error telling me?”
🌐

It Can Look Stuff Up

Claude can search the internet for fresh answers when it needs to — like checking new facts, prices, or how something works today.

Try saying
“Look up the newest FAA drone rules and tell me what changed.”
The One Big Tip
You don’t need fancy words. Just talk like you’re asking a friend. Say what you want, give an example if you can, and Claude figures out which helper or trick to use. If it’s a big job, add “use a team of agents” or “make a plan first.” That’s really all there is to it. 🚀
