When the line is clear and the pump bench-tests good, it is almost never the pump.
The failure sits downstream of the muscle: the valve, a sensor, or the station's brain (control board / firmware). On the closest-matching case, a plain factory reset got the water flowing again with no part swap at all.

It is the motor that pushes water. An owner unhooked it and fed it 12V straight from a bench supply, it pushed water right into the tray. Yours likely does the same: it builds pressure when the outlet is pinched.
TELL IT APART: feed the pump its own 12V. If water moves, the pump is fine, stop blaming it.
The Solenoid Valve

An electric gate that opens to let water past. One owner measured the coil at ~51.5 ohms on a 12V valve, electrically healthy. The catch: the station opens it for a very short, fixed time and trusts it worked.
TELL IT APART: probe the two coil pins with a meter on resistance. ~50Ω = good coil.
Watch the wording: on Reddit owners say "pump" and "valve", never "solenoid". Searching "freshwater solenoid" returns car parts, not robot parts.

Hold the small Wi-Fi / Reset button on the robot for 5 to 10 seconds until the voice prompt and startup music play.
Unplug the base station for 30 seconds, then plug back in.
Run "clean mop" and check the pads.
Heads up: a factory reset wipes your saved map and custom settings. Worth it to test, but know that going in.
FIX 2Prime the Airlock + Clear the Tank Filter▸
Ecovacs support's own list and multiple owners point here when flow is weak or zero.
Break an airlock: pull the clean-water tank, syringe water straight into the inlet hole on the station base while running "clean mop". This forces trapped air out.
Clean the outlet filter / sponge under the clean tank. Detergent residue clogs it.
Reseat the tank firmly so it seals, and confirm the station sits dead level. A tilt starves the basin.

Logic: line clear + pump runs + valve coil good + no 12V at the valve = the control board is the fault, not any single moving part.

If you've snapped pieces trying to open it, here's why
The back shell is held by plastic clips, not just screws.
Once the screws are out, you have to release the clips, not pull. Pulling is what snaps them. iFixit shows 6-plus clips on Ecovacs bases. They hide under the water tanks, under the rubber feet, and along the side seams.
TEST FIRST, NO TEARDOWN: Ecovacs says there's a button on the LEFT side of the station panel that runs the pump directly. Press it and watch for water. If water comes out, the pump is alive, your fault is the valve or the board.
PRY RIGHT: use a flat plastic tool (guitar pick or spudger), not a screwdriver. Walk it along the seam and pop one clip at a time. Check under the tanks and peel the rubber feet, screws love to hide there.
FREE SWAP TEST (once open): the clean and dirty sides often use the SAME pump. Swap them. If the dead spot follows the pump to the dirty side, the pump is bad. If clean stays dead, it's the valve or board, a new pump won't fix it.
